Easy Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 500g Self raising Flour

  • 5ml Salt

  • 340ml Beer of your choice

  • 125ml Grated Cheese

  • 125ml Sliced Biltong

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC and grease a large loaf tin (900g)

  2. Mix the Self raising flour, salt, cheese & biltong together

  3. Add the beer and mix well

  4. Place dough in loaf tin and bake for 45-50 minutes until cooked through

  5. Allow to cool, before slicing

Serve warm with homemade soup



Note

Variations:

Replace biltong with more cheese for a cheesy loaf

Replace biltong with cooked bacon bits

Replace biltong with Chopped spring onions & fresh herbs of your choice.

Replace cheese & Biltong with chopped black olives and sundried tomatoes
