Easy Beer Bread
Ingredients
500g Self raising Flour
5ml Salt
340ml Beer of your choice
125ml Grated Cheese
125ml Sliced Biltong
Method
Preheat oven to 180ÂșC and grease a large loaf tin (900g)
Mix the Self raising flour, salt, cheese & biltong together
Add the beer and mix well
Place dough in loaf tin and bake for 45-50 minutes until cooked through
Allow to cool, before slicing
Serve warm with homemade soup
Note
Variations:
Replace biltong with more cheese for a cheesy loaf
Replace biltong with cooked bacon bits
Replace biltong with Chopped spring onions & fresh herbs of your choice.
Replace cheese & Biltong with chopped black olives and sundried tomatoes
